Sorry, Mom Gooch! Your wheat grinder fell apart on us. We are really sorry! :-(
We looked all over and we found this one that was in better condition to replace yours that broke. We got it real cheap.
Again, Mom, we are really sorry! :-( We really did take good care of it.

boy, that brings back memories of grinding wheat. It seemed like it would take hours and hours until we got the new super loud, speedy wheat grinder.
You guys are awesome at fixing up and making do with what you have. I'm sure Mom Gooch can forgive you this time.
Yikes! I don't remember giving you our old wheat grinder. It must have sat too long unused. Love WoW
I suppose the next thing you will be telling me is that our home we left in Mona is falling apart, too - oh well, I guess we will just have to go on another mission - just don't tell your dad that I said that. WoW
Just so that everyone knows, WoW did tell us we could have the wheat grinder because: 1) It wasn't being used just sitting in the basement. 2) We needed one because we were given a bunch of wheat we needed to use, and she figured we may as well be using it. 3) She is probably in a giving mood being a missionary and all. The fact that she does not remember the conversation is merely evidence of her intense focus on her missionary work and not on things of the world! :-)
Thanks again, Mom! Jeremy really did enjoy re-staining it! :-)
If you are going on another mission you might want to tell us BEFORE we move out. ;)LOL
Great job Jearbear! It looks like brand new!
That's a cool looking thing.
Was this post the first she'd heard about it... I like that. Soften the blow... J/K... good for you. I haven't gotten that far yet~
ROFL - I was wondering if it was the first mention of it and a softening of the blow too! Good thinking Tamster! LOL
Cool thing that you found another to replace the old...
Cindy, apparently you must have missed that it was actually the same one. Jeremy just re-stained it and fixed it up nicer. And actually, he did that post. If it says JerBear & Co. at the end, that's him. If it says Tamster, that's me.
I'm glad you found the humor in it, though. We thought it would be fun to make Mom a little nervous, but apparently you are not the only one who has misunderstood that we really redid it.
Jeremy did a good job with it and was so excited to do it to surprise his mother! :-)
Oh that is so sweet!
LOL thanks for the clarification!
So, I think Mom is still waiting for than mansion you were going to build her........Jer
