My grandmother, were she still living, would have turned 100 years old yesterday! My grandfather, her husband, would have been 100 this July. Pretty cool to think about. 100 years is a long time; a lot has happened since they were born. And yet it is such a short time in the eternal scheme of things. Well, anyway, my aunt sent an e-mail with a small tribute to her yesterday, and I just thought I'd put it on here because there were some nice thoughts she had written. I hope you are able to enlarge it so you can read it. You should be able to just click on the picture to make it bigger.
Happy Birthday, Grandma Kelly! :-)

Happy Birthday Tami's Gramma!
She looks like your dad....your dads side...right?
Yes, it is my dad's side.
It is interesting looking at these older pictures because I can see so much of both of them in my dad and his sisters and even their children and grandchildren. It just carries on through the generations. Thanks for the birthday greetings; I'm sure she appreciates it! ;-)
My mom's parents would actually be older. Her dad was born in 1896 I think it was or sometime around then. I don't know when her mom was born. They've been gone a long time now--since the 80s. My Grandpa Kelly lasted the longest of all my grandparents--until just after my mission! (He waited to see me one last time! ;-) That's what I say!) I never knew any of my great grandparents. :-)
I see the family resemblence too! Great music to match the post.
This is great. At stake conf. yesterday, we heard a talk about family history and it makes me want to start preserving memories of my grandparents and parents for my kids. I think I will start that on my blog.
Happy Bday to Tami's grandma.
That was Sharon's comment, by the way. I didn't realize I was logged in as Bonnie.

Happy Birthday! I wonder how birthday cake tastes in Heaven?
