Matthew is 7 months old today! He is such a sweet, happy baby. Yesterday, I (Tami) had him weighed and measured; he is 17 lbs. 11 oz., 27 3/8 in. long now. He grew 2 lbs. in the past month. (It must be thanks to that extra boost he got from his auntie on our trip to Utah and the fresh goat milk we stocked up on while we were there! :-) Thanks, Auntie SlimBear!) He's now right around the 50th percentile on weight (up from 25th in the past month), height (down from 75th), and height to weight ratio for his age (up from 5th!--in a month!), so he's basically pretty much average now. I'm just glad to see he's growing well and healthy. He is almost crawling on his hands and knees now; he has been scooting for a few months and has lately been trying to get on his knees more; he's almost got it. (We've found it helps to have him crawling on the kitchen floor in just his diaper. He doesn't like the cold on his belly, so he'll keep his tummy up off of the floor more.) He has also been pulling himself up to stuff a lot lately and is so proud of himself when he's standing up tall against something after pulling himself up. Anyway, we just thought we'd share some pictures and a video from today.
This one is to show how tall he is next to his panda,
so you can really see how tall he has grown.
not quite poking through yet but getting close.
He actually did quite well considering.
He had some pretty funny, cute facial expressions.
(Sorry if it's a little choppy. I don't know why it is.)

You have such beautiful kids. I really enjoyed all the picures and especially the video. It was precious! I especially like dwatching Jeremys facial expressions as he tried to mentally eat that rice cereal for Matthew. And wow, does anyone think one of the photos of Jeremy looks just like uncle Preston?!
Ya'll, please act like you dont see all my typos and spelling errors...
Happy mirthday matthew--can't believe he is that old already!
I am pretty sure I know the real reason you like Matthew crawling in the kitchen and I hate to burst your bubble but I bet rice cereal wasn't the first thing he has eaten!
Oh feeding new food is always fun! What a cutie. Too bad he isn't around more often for his favorite aunt to teach him how to talk!
I guess we'll just have to get that favorite aunt, Aunt Shauna, on the phone once in awhile instead. Oh, wait, that was Bonnie who said that. I meant favorite Aunt Bonnie. Yeah, that's who I meant. Or was it Sharon? Or Shellie? Or...or...or...? I guess he'll just have to have lots of favorite aunties!
As for the eating video, I didn't even realize that Jeremy was moving his mouth; I just knew that I was, but darn, I wasn't on video! Hehehe! ;-)
PP, the scary thing is, you're right. I hadn't considered that food necessarily though. I know he has eaten paper. Who knows what else? :-) Tami
Preston and Jeff - I see them both. Wow Cute video
What a cute little guy! He is sure growing fast :) I see Uncle Preston in Jeremy as well.
