Above the Clouds

There is nothing more, I mean there is only one other thing in life, no, make that two things in life that can compare to the feeling of flying right on top of clouds. #1 is when the kids were born and #2 is well should I say it is not blog worthy.

Yesterday and today I had the privilege of flying on top of the clouds. The flight I had yesterday was bringing a plane over from Amarillo to Pampa so that we could use it today to go to BigSprings, TX. About 800' above the ground after takeoff we entered the clouds and did not emerge out on top until 7,000' MSL and we stayed that way until starting our decent into Pampa. It was a short flight but none the less it was still thrilling.

Then todays flight was down to BigSprings, TX and we were just skimming the tops @ 18,000' MSL.

You are so lucky to have a job you love. Not everyone can say that. I sure am proud of you for what you have done as a father, husband, and provider to your family. Keep up the good work.

How thrilling! What a ride. Like you said, not much that can beat that. I am glad you are enjoying your playtime, I mean your job!

Yeah, I think there's more truth to that than you realize, BonBon! He gets to get away and play all the time, while I'm stuck at home with the kids. The only time I get away is to go shopping, and that's with him calling every 15 min. to hurry me up! Not that I'm jealous or anything. ;-) Actually, I'll be the first to admit I'm jealous. But I'm glad he gets to do all the stuff he does. I just wish I could go with him. He goes on temple excursions all over the place. His boss pays for him to eat out everywhere when he's gone. Not to mention that he gets to fly, which he absolutely loves. I think he's got it pretty darn good! But I'm glad for him--just not so glad for me! :-) Tami

Too bad he can't take you with him when he goes out!
