Answers

In light of the recent happenings in California, specifically, and also other places around the country, I've been reading a lot of things on the internet about the same-gender marriage issue, Prop. 8, protests and vandalism, etc. I came across a wonderful interview which I felt answered a lot of important questions many have and really put same-gender attraction into perspective. About 15 years ago, give or take (maybe 17? not sure), a friend of mine asked me a question, which I tried to answer the best I could but wasn't entirely sure how to answer. She asked me what I thought about homos**uality--whether I thought it was something people were born with or not and what my church taught regarding the subject. This interview answers her question the way I wish I could have answered it then. (I hope maybe she'll read this now.) I hope that this is helpful to someone. It is a worthwhile read, in any case. I hope and pray things will get better, as there have been some pretty scary and horrible things going on lately.
