So this afternoon, Jessica randomly and innocently said to me, "Mommy, when are you going to get skinny?" Needless to say, that didn't particularly make me feel good, and Daddy and I had a talk with her about the kinds of things you just don't say to people and why. It was kind of funny, but not so funny since the implications of her innocent question were so true. Well, maybe someday I'll get skinny! But I can tell you right now, it won't be today! :-)

That sounds like something Allie said to me once. We we're walking around Wal-mart one day and she was tagging behind me and she says, "Mommy your butt is sooooo big." Kids speak their minds good or bad. Little stinkers. :)
Yeah, not so funny. That's why you just have to take what little children say with a grain of salt.
