Guess what my kids gave me for my birthday!

Big kisses (X's) all over my house!

So now when I look at this artwork anywhere in the house, I can think of their sweet kisses of love! ;-)

Actually, I don't know for certain, but I suspect this was done by one child in particular, who shall remain nameless. (And I'm not referring to the cute, sweet, most-likely-innocent one.) All 3 were punished, however, just in case and because they may have very likely participated, or at the very least they did not attempt to stop it or tell Mom or Dad. Unfortunately, two of our children have lied enough in the past that we cannot trust either of them enough to know who (if either of them) is telling the real story for sure. (In case you are wondering, Dad was working on Mom's car, and Mom had gone outside to see how it was going and to check the mail. It didn't take very long for this to happen ALL OVER THE HOUSE!!! Yes, each of those pics was a different location, and those weren't all of them either.)

They almost weren't going to even get any Christmas presents after this, but now that Daddy and Mommy have cooled down a bit we've decided not to call Santa and tell him not to come. We don't want to ruin Christmas for the kids over one stupid incident.

(Thank you, Marci, for helping me find the "joy" in this.) ;-)

Go get some of that furniture polish that also has wood stain in it. I bet it will make those scratches look a lot better.
Sorry you had to experience anger on your birthday. I experienced anger on your birthday too. My kids got into a chili food fight and I'm not sure my white curtains will ever be the same. They aren't cute little toddlers either. We're talking double digit aged kids. Just as I thought I was cooled off from it, I walked into my master room closet and found the mess they did there. Again, it was the double digit kid.
Hope you and your family have a merry Christmas!

Wow, Amy! So sorry! That stinks! It also doesn't give me much hope, if your double digit kids are still doing that kind of stuff. Ugh!
Thank you for the polish/stain suggestion. I'll have to check into that.
Merry Christmas to you, as well! And happy new year! :-)
