It's good to get it over with. My kids all got them the week after my youngest was born. Two weeks later my little 3 week old got it. So sad.
Oh, Amy! That must have been kind of scary! That's too young for the chickenpox; it could be dangerous then. I assume everything's turned out okay?! My poor little 18-month-old had it bad enough; I can't imagine how awful that would be with a 3-week-old.
Thanks for commenting! :-)
I hear these are contagious, it's a good thing Mom and Dad didn't make it out.
Itch itch. Scratch.
Hope Santa doesn't catch it. My kids are really expecting him on time.
Oatmeal baths and Calamine lotion. Give the kids a q-tip and a small amount of the lotion and let them cover each other's dots.
Yeah!!! In a little while you will feel so happy! When it is all over maybe...Done with chickenpox in the Jeremy Gooch family!! It is a very good thing to get over with...
They were actually all done by the time we posted this. Yes, they had oatmeal baths. Even after Jacob was better, he kept saying he wanted to take an oatmeal bath--I think more of an excuse to take a bath in general! :-)
Don't worry. Santa won't catch it from us. Now my brother's kids... That's another question. They'll probably have a new group of poxies break out on Christmas Day! :-( Hopefully that will be the last of them, though, so that they don't have to go through this any longer.
It is good to have it over with. :-)
I would sure love to get it over with at my house. Too bad we live so far away from each other. I may have brought them over to play.
You could still come over and play anyway! We'd gladly have you! I can't guarantee that white Christmas here though. It would be nice if we lived closer. :-)
