Inquiring Minds Want to Know!

People have asked us what the purpose is of this corporation we started. I (Tami) had briefly mentioned before that it was aviation-related, but I guess I didn't really go into too much detail. I thought I would kind of explain its purpose.

Jeremy is employed by a company as one of their pilots; however, he does on occasion fly for other people as well or earn other income that is not through his employer. He will occasionally receive a commission on the sale of some aircraft also. Any income that is not through his employer will be paid to the corporation, then it can be passed onto us as dividends. It helps with taxes to do it this way. It is an S-corp. The way we established Gooch's Soarin' Services, Inc., it is all-purpose, so we could really do anything with it, not necessarily just aviation, though that is the immediate purpose in mind.
