For anyone who knows about my (Tami's) thing about 3's, here goes! Third time's a charm; maybe some people might even leave some comments. (Was that a #5, Mom Gooch, or more of a direct hint?) Well, anyway, if any of you read Jeremy's sister Bonnie's blog on Oct. 23, entitled "Watch Out You're Next!" I'm afraid I have some bad news to share (or I suppose good, depending on how you look at it). (Anyone who hasn't read that blog can click on my Blogging Blamily and Bliends link "Somewhere in Time" and read that entry to know what this is in reference to.) Anyway, I'm afraid that they have taken things a step further. They are no longer just changing body parts; now they are actually switching whole babies! :-@ My cute little long, brown-haired baby boy as seen in my earlier post today has been swapped for this:
a short-haired, blond, little frog-like creature! (OK, much cuter than a frog, but I thought his position here kind of looked like one.) And what used to be an adorable, toothless smile has been replaced with this:
big white teeth (missing one even), too big to even fit in his little mouth. Now I don't know about you, but I say it just isn't right that someone can do that to a family--swapping their babies like that! Something must be done!
OK, truth be told, my husband finally convinced me that Matthew needed his hair cut. Actually what partly convinced me were the nappy hairs on the back of his head, all teased, frizzed, and matted from laying on it and rolling around. So we did it--at 5 1/2 months old! So, if you think it looks good, that's because I cut it; if it looks bad, it's because the baby wiggled too much, and Jeremy didn't hold him still enough, even though he was crying most of the time up until he fell asleep (sweet baby was sleeping through the last part of his first haircut). Actually, I'd say it's not too shabby for a baby's haircut, although I know it's not perfect. Anyway, he looks quite different now--blonder for one, but he also looks older, just a different look all around. So long story short (or long hair short--hehehe--LOL), Matthew got his first haircut today! :-) & :'-(

He looks like a little man now. And, I couldn't see the tooth.....was that bread in his mouth or is he going to have hillbilly teeth? Do I dare say, from Wendy in Alaska?
This is for your 3's and to up your comments for today. It's also a thanks for feeding the hog so well.
Matthew is so cute. I was still trying to make him a 3 month old and you've gone ahead and made him 30. I hope the candy you get tonight rots out 3 of your teeth, 6 of Jeremy's and 9 of Jessicas.
Happy, Happy, Happy Halloween, Halloween Helloween, I mean Halloween.

I was just looking at the post before this and thinking how fun it would be to cut that hair! What a coincidence that you did it last night. It is darling.
This being your fifth comment I hope and pray for your 3's sake that someone else will quickly comment.
It's definitely not bread; we wouldn't be giving him bread this young. Of course the hillbilly teeth could be a clue as to where this swapped baby came from. Maybe if we looked in Alabama or somewhere, we might find our little Matthew and be able to swap them back. In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to enjoy this little cutie instead.
Oh, that was Tami, by the way. I forgot to sign it so you'd know who wrote it. :-) Tami
