So Jacob a little bit ago was giving me (Tami) an attitude and talking back to me, so I went to get the vinegar. All along he continued to yell at me and didn't want the vinegar. As I was pouring the vinegar into the cap to give to him, I kind of ... well... overdid it a little. OK, I poured too much, and instead of vinegar in his mouth, Jacob ended up with a vinegar shower. It poured all over his head (hair and face) and onto his shoulders and the floor. Oops! He cried, and we went and washed him off so that hopefully he won't smell too badly of vinegar. After that, I didn't bother putting any in his mouth, figuring that was enough torture--for him and me. I'm getting tired of the smell of vinegar everywhere. I suppose I should try to be a little more careful next time I try to give a vinegar shower and at least do it in the tub. :-)
For a little side note, hurray for Jacob! He just told me he needed to go pee pee (dry diaper, mind you--although I changed it not too long ago), and so he got on the potty and did it! He's getting a little better at telling us, but he's nowhere near consistent. He did go after church before leaving for home yesterday, again because he told us. Steps in the right direction. Yea!

You may have just solved the greatest mystery in the universe, you need to capitalize on this, make some $$$ on the new best way to potty train a little boy. Firsta vinegar shower, then some peepee. I wish I would have known much sooner! I wonder if it works on 3 month old boys. Let us know.
Sounds like a grand idea, but unfortunately it's still inconsistent. Maybe he needs more! :-) Tami
