You wanted that and you know it. We have had and are now experiencing show, but not quite to the extent you had. Quite impressive for Pampa, Texas. Love WoW

So, it's not Christmas. It's supposed to be Easter - Spring! My question is, has Pampa ever seen that much snow?

Actually, from what I've heard they can get a lot more than that, but this is the first time since we've been here that they have actually used a snow day at school on a snowy day. This winter, we didn't get much snow at all, but last year we had a few storms that gave us some pretty good snow and some drifts in places. This is probably the most I've seen here so far, however. The wind here makes it a very different experience than the typical Utah snow I'm used to. Because the wind blows the snow into these drifts, there will be some places with barely any snow and others really high. I know that can happen in Utah, too, but it just seems different here. Maybe I've just been gone from UT for too long and got to used to AZ in between. ;-) Anyway, to answer your question, Sharon, yes, I'm sure Pampa has seen that much snow, but not necessarily while we were here. Sadly, it's mostly gone already. Even by Sat. night, it had melted significantly.

Yes, I'm sure Jeremy would be the first to admit he wanted it, and so did I. I'm not so sure my mom wanted it, though. She comes here thinking she'll get away from her over-abundance of snow in Utah, and what does she get?! It snows the day she gets here and then again towards the end of her stay, with the biggest snow storm of the whole season here. Maybe we should get her to stay longer; she must have brought it with her. ;-)
Okay, enough rambling for me, but I do have to say, it was kind of fun being somewhat snowed in with my mommy here! :-) I think she did find it interesting how the drifts would get so high--different than the snow she's been used to. :-)

It would be a long drive before I saw any snow. lucky you. I can't even get a white Christmas. I bet your kids love it.

I want to go snowboarding. Maybe I will have to take a drive.

Wow!! We didn't have a bad storm like that this year. We didn't have much snow, but it was still cold! If I have to be cold at least I could enjoy some snow! :)
