Jessica was eating her breakfast this morning before school, and Jacob had just woken up. He sat down at the table and proclaimed, "I want some cereal!" Jessica said, "Yes, your highness!" to which Jacob replied, "I'm not a highness! I'm just Jacob!" :-)
I just thought it was funny and very cute, so I had to share. Have a nice day! :-)

Hey Just Jacob, you're just about the cutest just Jacob ever. Sure love you.
Enjoy having your daddy back.
Cute. I sometimes think about writing a whole blog just filled with the things my kids say.
I took my 3 yr old out to lunch last week. We were sitting there eating quietly, then he started shouting, "Look mom, it's Barack Obama, It's Barack Obama." It wasn't Barack Obama, just an innocent man eating his lunch, who happened to have something in common w/ Barack Obama. I didn't know if I should be embarrassed, or impressed that my 3 year old new a name of one of the presidential candidates. (Even if it may or may NOT be the one I am voting for:)
We sure missed all your hineys I mean highnesses this weekend!
Too cute!
Thanks, y'all!
Sharon, I think he is enjoying having Daddy back and Matthew. Both of them are.
He's been really playing off from this whole just Jacob thing, since he heard me telling about it. He tries to repeat it with other things, which is also very cute, but of course it isn't quite the same as the first time around. It's pretty funny, though.
Amy, thanks for commenting. That is funny and impressive that your 3-year-old would know that name. Thanks for sharing the cute story.
Bon, thanks for missing our hineys! Although, I'm not quite sure why you would; mine's kind of big! ;-) We sure wished we could have been there with y'all, but I'm glad Jeremy and Matthew were able to go at least. Honestly, it was kind of a nice break just having the two older kids for a few days. I got a lot more done and got to spend some quality time with them more one-on-one. Anyway, it all turned out okay, but I do wish I could have been there. Thanks. (Oh, and you are more than welcome to take my hiney, if you really want it! ;-) )
:-)
That's soooo cute! I love the things these little ones can come up with! Thanks for letting Jeremy and Matthew come spend time with the family. We wish we could have seen ALL of you but understand why you were unable to make it. Love you all :)
Love the words of the little ones. Guess being royal is nothing compared to being Jacob.
Loved spending time with your two boys. Especially the one who knows how to make an awesome brisket!
I think I had an older brother that would almost demand that we say that to him. Anyone care to recall that memory with me?
